Glass formers are characterized by their ability to avoid crystallization. As monodisperse systems tend rapidly crystallize, the most common glass in simulations composed of mixtures particles with different sizes. Here, we make use patchy change local structure propose them as formers. We explore two patch geometries: a 12-patch geometry that enhances formation icosahedral clusters and an 8-patch does not appear strongly favor any particular structure. show both geometries crystallization present glassy features at low temperatures. However, better preserves simple liquid wide range temperatures packing fractions, making it good candidate for former.
